Overview
Evalq ("Espace d'évaluation") is a platform for managing quality assurance reports at Université Moulay Ismaïl (UMI). I have worked on it as a full-stack developer since March 2024.
The Context: ANEAQ Evaluations
In Morocco, higher education institutions are evaluated by the ANEAQ, the national agency for evaluation and quality assurance in higher education and scientific research. To go through an evaluation, an institution has to show how it meets the agency's criteria, and it does that in quality assurance reports.
The Problem
A quality assurance report is not written by one person. It brings together evidence and answers from many people across the institution, and it has to follow the structure of the evaluation criteria. When that work lives in scattered documents and emails, it is hard to know what is done, what is missing, and which version is the right one.
What Evalq Does
Evalq brings that work into one place:
- Reports built around the ANEAQ criteria, so the structure of each report follows what the evaluation asks for.
- Creation and management of reports in a single space instead of separate files.
- One source of truth for the institution's quality assurance work.
